Late Night This Week 04/13-17

Here's the lineup for this week's late night shows. Set your DVR's accordingly.

Tonight, Monday, Comedy Central brings in Nancy Pelosi for The Daily Show With Jon Stewart and Queen Noor of Jordan will politely smile and chuckle her way through the absurdities of The Colbert Report. On the broadcast side of things, Leno welcomes Maverick McCain and Kristen Chenowith. Not sure what Ms. Chenowith is pushing but glad to see she landed on her feet after ABC pulled the plug on Pushing Daisies. Too bad Ned couldn't touch his own show. I guess Hannah Montana was busy so they landed dear old dad, Billy Ray Cyrus, as a musical guest. Letterman talks to tween idol Zac Efron before A.C. Newman and Nicole Atkins closes out the show. As for the Jimmy's, Kimmel repeats with Ben Affleck and Lilly Allen while Fallon talks to Rescue Me's Denis Leary (who's also touring) and Jill Hennessy with music by Sara Watkins and John Paul Jones. Craig Ferguson will welcome Mary McCormack (In Plain Sight returns one week from tonight!) and Dwight Yoakam. Finally, Carson Daly repeats with actor Adam Scott, comedienne Renee Gauthier and Cold War Kids.

Tuesday sees Jamie Foxx, comic Carol Leifer and buzzy blog band Airborne Toxic Event stopping by Tonight Show With Jay Leno, Live! co-host Kelly Rippa and author Bill Scheft appear on The Late Show With David Letterman along with Yeah Yeah Yeah's second appearance of the week. Jimmy Fallon has TV news vet Tom Brokaw, a pair of comedians (Tim Heidecker and Eric Wareheim) and rapper Akon. Carson Daly rolls out Adele, Kimmel gets Jorge Garcia, whoever gets thrown off that illiterate dancing show and Mims while Jimmy Ferguson welcomes actors Adam Goldberg (The Unusuals) and Anna Gunn with music by Brett Dennen.

Wednesday. On Leno you can marvel at the fact that Don Rickels is still alive. Also check out journalist Richard Engel and (thirtysomething single females get ready to swoon) musical duo Chris Botti and John Mayer. Letterman has two females that like to get naked: Drew Barrymore and Neko Case. Jimmy Kimmel gets down with Samantha Who's Christina Applegate, Mike Tyson and Dana Gould while Jimmy Fallon brings the real variety with rapper/actor Ice-T, Sesame Street's Elmo, Morgan Webb and, for their third and final broadcast for the week, Yeah Yeah Yeahs. Ferguson has Michael Cain and comic Matt Baetz and Carson Daly features The Duke Spirit.

Matthew Perry meets up with Letterman Thursday and is joined by Elisha Cuthbert and Rascal Flatts. Jessica Alba, Bob Saget (pushing his new show Surviving Suburbia) and Jonny Lang hangout with Leno. Footballer Michael Emerson, Rachel McAdams and Matthew Stanford praise Fallon with their presence while Euro twee pop star Lykke Li plays for Carson Daly. Rory Gilmore's dreamdate Madeleine Albright and Amy Smart stop by for Craig Ferguson and Kimmel has Zac "What The F Is Wrong" Efron, Patti Stanger and (thirtysomething single ladies, come back again) Pete Yorn.

Finally, Friday sees Matt Perry visiting Jimmy Fallon, along with Adam Goldberg (again) and Plain White T's. Carson Daly brings the groove with Ben Harper and Relentless 7, Leno has former b-baller, the butt of many SNL jokes, drunk driver and avid gambler, Charles Barkley and musical guest Leslie Mann. Letterman has Russell Crowe (he couldn't get anything better than Friday?) and comedian Joe Wong. Ferguson brings out Jessica Lange, comic Tom Lennon (see Zac Efron's How To Kill A Party) and Martina Mcbride.

Also keep in mind The Roots are still acting as Jimmy Fallon's house band.
