Hopefully this bill will pass and let cable providers know we, the consumers, are not willing to go back in time. Is it just me or does this remind anyone else of when we had to rush around on the internet due to paying AOL per hour for access?
I find it pretty hard to believe cable networks would be very happy with this new arrangement. NBC's Hulu would be killed off, ESPN makes their Disney parents ridiculous amounts of money via videos. And what about the non-networks - major sports organizations would lose millions with all the effort they've been putting into live streaming sports.
Now be truthful, would you really watch all those Two Girls One Cup reaction videos if you had to pay for Youtube downloads?
