ABC Renews Castle, Scrubs & Better Off Ted

Word just came down a few hours ago that ABC has renewed new semi-quirky cop show "Castle" for a second season as well work place comedy that thankfully isn't a mockumentary (though the main character does talk to the camera) "Better Off Ted" for season 2. "Scrubs" has also officially been picked up for a 9th season. Surprising considering everyone swore season 7 would be it's last til ABC swooped into NBC territory and saved for it, announcing it would have an 8th and probably final season. The fact that it made it to season 9 means it's the show with as many lives as a freakin cat.

Gotta say I'm pretty happy to hear "Better Off Ted" made it through for another year. It's probably my favorite comedy to premiere for in the 2008/09 season.
