As I posted the other day, Time Warner, among other cable companies, are looking into the idea of charging people based on bandwidth usage. As I pointed out, this would be like sending us back to the 90's when AOL ruled the net with it's hourly fees. Earlier today MSNBC featured a story about the corporations floating these ideas and they even made mention of the fact that if public outcry were loud enough, they'd drop the idea.
